Boy did I have a tough day today. I’m not one to dread Monday’s but today was definitely a “Monday.” Just about everything that could go wrong did; stress on top of stress. And yet at the end of the day, I still have reason to rejoice. The following verses reminded me that, no matter the circumstances, I can still be grateful and rejoice in my Lord Jesus.
Psalms 32:11…”Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart.
Psalms 40:16…”May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, ‘The Lord be exalted!'”
Psalms 118:24…”This is the day The Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Luke 1:46-47…”My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”
Romans 5:1-2…”Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.”
Philippians 4:4…”Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19…”Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire.”
